I will be upgrading Mac Office 2016 to Mac Office 2019 and will be using Mac Seralizer to activate Mac Office 2019 to Volume Licensing. Here are the screen shots. Upgrade to Office 2019 for Mac: If you're a volume licensed customer, you can upgrade to Office 2019 for Mac without uninstalling Office 2016 for Mac. First, you need to download the 2019 version of the Volume License (VL) Serializer from the Volume Licensing Service Center (VLSC). Second, download the latest version of Office 2019 for Mac. Download Office 2019 and the Volume License Serializer using the links provided. Double-click MicrosoftOfficeInstaller.pkg and follow the on-screen prompts. Enter your macOS administrator password when prompted. When installation is complete, double-click the SWDVD5OfficeMacSerializer2019.ISO and then double-click the MicrosoftOffice. In the window that opens up, run MicrosoftOffice2019VLSerializer.pkg. Once that's done, you can launch Word 2019, Excel 2019, or PowerPoint 2019, & you won't be forced to sign into a Microsoft account & pay for Office 365. Reply to the RT email letting us know that you've installed Office 2019 so we can resolve the ticket.

1. Send an email to computing@help.carthage.edu asking for Office 2019 for Mac. Indicate that you're a full time employee of the College in the body of the email.
2. If you've got Microsoft Office installed on your Mac, then follow Microsoft's instructions for removing it from your computer: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/uninstall-office-for-mac-eefa1199-5b58-43af-8a3d-b73dc1a8cae3 Do this before trying to install Office 2019, to prevent issues.
3. Download the ZIP sent to you via a link in an email from Request Tracker (RT).
4. Open the ZIP once it's downloaded.
5. Run Microsoft_Office_16.30.19101301_Installer.pkg first.
• Note: While you can install OneNote, Outlook, & OneDrive, LIS does not support them. Use at your own risk.
6. Once that's done installing, open Office 2019 Volume Serializer.ISO
7. In the window that opens up, run Microsoft_Office_2019_VL_Serializer.pkg.
8. Once that's done, you can launch Word 2019, Excel 2019, or PowerPoint 2019, & you won't be forced to sign into a Microsoft account & pay for Office 365.
9. Reply to the RT email letting us know that you've installed Office 2019 so we can resolve the ticket.

Don't install it on machines not owned by the College.

Don't share the ZIP file with students or anyone who doesn't work for the College full time.
